Give the barn a fresh new look during The Big Barn Paint Day! Volunteers will paint both the interior and exterior using rollers and brushes, including detailed trim work. The team will also deep-clean troughs, refill water stations, and continue painting throughout the project. This is a great opportunity for large groups, youth groups, and teams to serve together.

Help Project 150 Reno prepare its boutique to serve local high school students experiencing homelessness, displacement, or financial hardship. Volunteers will organize and stock school supplies, fold clothing, restock the boutique, and clean and tidy the space.
Veteran Assistance

Serve a local senior by making their property safer and more accessible. Volunteers will trim overgrown juniper bushes, clear the walkway to the front door for Meals on Wheels deliveries, and haul away branches, weeds, and foliage. Please bring pruning and trimming tools.
FAM Fest: Family Movie Night at the Marina!

Family Movie Night at the Marina for an evening of fun, community, and meaningful impact! FAM (Foster. Adopt. Mentor.) is a program of the Washoe County Human Services Agency that connects children and youth with safe, loving, and supportive adults through fostering, adoption, and mentoring.
Volunteers will help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience by assisting with event setup, greeting and directing families, supporting activity areas, answering general questions, and helping with cleanup after the movie. Your time will support local children and families while helping raise awareness about the life-changing impact of providing a child with stability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

Volunteers will move gear and equipment back into the space, organize and sort items, complete a final sweep and trash haul, return tools, and walk the grounds to ensure everything is ready. This project is perfect for anyone willing to lend a hand with light lifting, organization, and final touch-ups.

Help Animal Ark refresh its facilities by painting several buildings, including the Visitor Center and the animal meal-preparation building. Volunteers will help create a clean, welcoming environment for guests while supporting the team that cares for the animals.

Join us at the Nevada Humane Society's Reno campus to help support animals and the team that cares for them. Volunteers will rotate through a variety of projects based on the shelter's needs that day, giving everyone the opportunity to serve in different areas.
Projects may include laundry, dishes, sanitizing crates and kennels, packing food for the Pet Pantry Program, logging and sorting donations, welcoming community members, assisting potential adopters with directions and general questions, and helping maintain clean and welcoming public spaces. Additional projects may be available depending on the shelter's needs, staffing, and timing.
Younger volunteers may be given age-appropriate activities, such as reading to dogs and cats through their kennels with no direct animal interaction.
Please note: Volunteers under age 15 must have a parent, guardian, or chaperone present.
Convoy of Hope

After meals are packed on Sunday, we'll head into our community to personally deliver them to neighbors and individuals in need throughout Reno. Volunteers will help distribute meals, offer kindness, and share the love of Jesus through simple acts of compassion.
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based organization dedicated to bringing help and hope to communities through feeding initiatives, disaster response, and community outreach. Together, we're helping ensure that people across our city are seen, cared for, and supported.
Whether you're delivering a meal, sharing a smile, or offering a word of encouragement, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Come alongside Veteran Assistance Reno in honoring a local 73-year-old veteran who needs support caring for their property. Volunteers will restore the yard by removing debris and garbage, raking the property, and hauling away materials. Heavy lifting is required.
